A fantastic experience that helped me gain insight into the embroidery industry. Interning at Hand and lock included beading garments for Annabelle's Mayfair, organising/cataloguing archives, marketing, preparing for the Hand and Lock prize, creating a brochure for sponsors, preparing frames for Tambour beading, sourcing materials, problem solving, prick and pining, taking orders, embroidering patches, tidying up after digital embroidery, managing stock, doing deliveries/post and photographing/styling stock. Interning at Hand and Lock also taught me the importance of working in a team to ensure a smooth-running production line and achieve working towards deadlines.
